Regarding MMC REGISTRATION RENEWAL
This is for my friends who are doctors:
One of my frd was asking about Renewal of Registration with MMC(maharashtra medical council registration)
I got following information abott the same.
REGISTRATION IS VALID FOR 5 YEARS.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE RENEWAL FORM FROM MMC OFFICEAL SITE & SEND IT DIRECTLY TO MMC BY POST, OR SUBMIT THE PAPERS(NOT NECESSARY TO BE THERE PERSONALLY), AT THEIR SAAT RASTA OFFICE, NEAR ARTHUR ROAD NAKA(CHINCHPOKLI), MUMBAI-400011.
IF IT IS A NEW REGISTRATION, IT MAY TAKE UPTO 3 MONTHS, WHILE FOR RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION, THE MATTER IS USUALLY SORTED OUT IN 1 MONTH’S TIME.

mmc registration renewal asks for the credit hours, is it must ? for its is given in advertisement but the list of the institute’s which are certified was given a way late, since my reg.is dated on march so not enough time to collect those credit hours, also they haven’t posted the dates when such seminars /workshops b conducted (it hard for someone practicing in rural to find them} any guidance regarding this will b helpful to me

If somebody is not registered in MMC so far though he is working in mumbai central govt hospital since last 15 years,then what should be done? Weather he still requires MMC registration and in case he still reqiuires then what should be done and how?If doctor is about to retire then what he should do to get MMC registration and weather it is must or not?
Kindly clarify these quaries and I would be highly obliged.

hello, its been 2 months since my parents sent their renewals…they haven’t recieved it yet…they’ve tried calling the landline no.s displayed on the mmc website, to no avail…is there some kind of website, where we can check if the renewal has been issued or not?? or some phone no. where we can ask the status of the renewal?? its kind of frustrating just sitting around not knowing what’s going on…
if anyone has any idea about this, your help is deeply appreciated…

I have submited my renewal forms during March ’12 to IMA Pune Branch.My Registration number is 29556, in the name of Dr. Ganesh Purohit.
